Petite Fashion Challenge #17: Candy Colourized

I absolutely love SewPetiteGal‘s theme for this month’s PFC.

The Challenge: Candy Colorized
Take a bowl full of colorful candies (M&Ms, Jolly Ranchers, jelly beans, etc.), close your eyes, and draw 2-3 pieces.  Now use those colors (+ a neutral of your choosing) to form the basis for your ensemble.
**Extra brownie points if you post more than 1 colorful ensemble or if you add a DIY element (because I love DIYs so much!) :D **
My selection of candy:

Cadbury Mini Eggs

Cadbury Mini Eggs

This challenge turned out to be harder than I thought.  Maybe because my choice of candy (mini eggs) are pastel colours and I don’t have many pastels in my closet!  I did have a small pink purse, but I forgot it when I went out to take photos, so just use your imagination!

I realized my outfit last week for a cruise party was also “Candy Colourized”:  Green, Orange, Blue.

I love the pattern on your top. Great outfit and wonderful colors reflected in the water on the night skyline shot, as well.

I forgot to put quotation marks around “top” – i.e. your scarf used as top. Great inventiveness and it fools the eye with the blazer.

  • witheachpassingday

I didn’t realize that the top was a scarf. LOL @myself. The scarf looks so much like a top. The green dress was mention for you.
