One of the first things I did after I started working full-time was buy myself a real leather jacket. I got this jacket at a Danier outlet in Ottawa for $259 $109+tax. These photographs were taken during the fall. There is all sorts of dirty snow on the ground for the past few months. I can’t wait for spring to come.

A couple weekends ago, my boyfriend and I drove up north a few hours to spend the weekend at a friend’s cottage. The cottage was close to Huntsville, Ontario and it was beautiful up there. I wish that winter was this beautiful in the city.

Fall is one of my favourite seasons. I love the transition. I also have a love for sweaters, and this cobalt blue cowl neck is one of my favourite looks. The cowl neckline is forgiving, flattering and acts almost like a necklace which is great for an accesory-handicapped such as myself.

I used to be someone who didn’t really care about jackets or coats. The way I saw it, outerwear was something that kept me warm while getting from point A to point B. In fact, the first few years of university, I had a super warm down jacket my parents got for me in grade 8. I was nicknamed as the “green puff” by family and friends. And this trench, is no “puff.”
