Lately I’ve been less active in the blogosphere and I’ve been missing on everyone’s posts. I’m slowly catching up. Some days I have back-to-back events and I don’t even have time to go home to change. Last month, there was one day where I was at wedding festivities, left during the tea ceremony to volunteer at an performance, as soon as that was over I attended a NGO monthly members meeting, then eventually to the wedding reception.
For that day I put up my hair, hoping it would look clean and tidy during the day and look evening up-do appropriate. My bangs are at the length of too short to clip up and too long to leave down, so I’ve been braiding my bangs and clipping behind my ear. I wore low heels during the day since I knew that I would be standing for most of the day. I picked an evening dress that I would be able to change into easily – meaning no need to use double sided tapes, strategically adhere the Nubras, or complicated closures (e.g. lace-up back). I’m sure everyone has a dress like that in their closet!
