One of my costumes this year from over the weekend. As suggested by Jessy from The Little Dust Princess, I turned the outfit I wore in the summer to a wedding (link to post) into my Halloween costume this year as Cleopatra. Best $15 dress ever! The headpiece was DIY – a elasticized band of sequins and Christmas beads decorations from Michaels. The belt was from one of my costumes from dance.

During the past Canadian long weekend, a close friend was getting married in Vancouver but I had other commitments back home in Toronto, thus resulting in an extremely short trip to Vancouver. I went to the airport in my dress for the wedding.

I’ve been trying out various sites for online shopping lately; with school being so crazy busy, shopping online at 2am has been the only way that I’ve been able to satisfy my shopaholic needs! All 3 orders arrived during the past 3 days…it was like an early Christmas! The following list is a quick summary of what I purchased:
- Enviius: Amrita Singh Jewelry
- ASOS: Various clothing items
- Nordstrom: Various clothing items and a clutch from the half-yearly sale
I have shopped at Enviius before and I’ve shopped Nordstrom before but sent the items to an US address. I’ve heard great things about ASOS and wanted to try it out. Lead time for was particularly long for Enviius and ASOS. Unfortunately, I got tacked with a hefty duty fine of $50 for my shipment from ASOS, which I wasn’t too happy about! An ASOS shopping tip from my blogger friend Jessy (The Little Dust Princess): Spread your orders to avoid duties!
Now onto the goodies!

Earlier this month I made a weekend stopover in San Francisco, California. I’ve been to San Francisco once before, but I only stayed within the downtown core, and spent most of that trip at Westfield! During this trip, I made the trek out to Napa Valley and Sausalito.
