Even with my busy schedule, Cynthia’s DelectablyChic! Social was a must-do on my list yesterday. Unfortunately I had night class so I couldn’t stay long and was only there for a little over an hour – the party had barely started! A few photos from the night.
The venue…loving the dress lampshade, genius!
Awesome music from DJ Lissa Monet
Speed networking, unfortunately I had to leave before it started!
I only stopped by a few of the vendors, wish I had more time, because I really needed retail therapy! First of the vendors, Katherine Song. Her handmade jewelry is exquisite, and in no way does it look DIY! One of my friends mom has a similar concept store, so I’m familiar with their products. They use Swarovski elements in their handmade jewelry. Products have a higher price pointe, but they are made with high-end quality materials. Great products if you’re looking for a unique jewelry (with the BLING! effect). She also makes hairclips and headbands and she generously gave me a hairclip. Thanks Katherine!
Elaine from Toronto Beauty Reviews was at the event as a Allison Izu rep. Most of us in the petite blogger community are familar with Allison Izu. Based in Hawaii, Allison designs denim and pants for petite sizes, 5’6″ and under. Check out the models below.
The last vendor I visited, AIME by Monica Mei. Her philosophy is one I agree with: Love yourself. Love Others. Love Luxury. Also, there’s a sustainable focus on her products, which I’m a big supporter of (school has brainwashed me!). Her collection is contemporary and also comfortable. We were talking and we realized that we went to neighbour/rival high schools and have mutual friends – I keep forgetting how small Toronto is! I’m definitely planning to stop by the boutique later this summer.
My outfit of the night.
Banana Republic Dress worn as a top sz XS ♦ Wilfred Lace Dress worn as a skirt sz XXS
Marc by Marc Jacobs Beaded Necklace ♦ Anteprima Clutch ♦ Dior Heels sz 7
No party would be complete without Swag Bags!
I had a great time at the event, really disappointed I had to leave early before things got into full swing! Maybe next time Cynthia?
Have a good weekend!
