Summerlicious Round 2 at Prime, Windsor Arms Hotel

Another round of Summerlicious at Prime located inside Windsor Arms Hotel in Yorkville.  This time pricier than The Host (for the petite bloggers meetup), at $45 plus taxes and gratuity.  Wearing an older dress from the back of my closet, circa 2008, and featuring one of my recent purchases, Amrita Singh Necklace from Enviius (click here for invite).

I don’t really throw out clothes or sell them (maybe I should?), and when my closet gets full they migrate to another closet in my parents house.  So some items in my closet are ancient.  I was going to post a picture wearing the same dress from 2008 but….some pictures should just stay in my hard drive forever for my viewing purposes only.

Two items on the menu immediately caught my eye – Pan Seared Scallops and Chorizo Salad for the appetizer and Char Grilled 10 oz. 21-day Aged Rib Eye with Herb Mashed Potatoes and Ratatouille for main course.

For desserts, I had the Raspberry Panna Cotta with Chocolate Garnish and Fresh Berries (on the left) and my friends had the Chocolate Praline Pyramid (on the right).

    I haven’t tried a $45 menu yet. Never had the chance! And I try to limit my “licious” dinners to 1 or 2 every season or else I’d be broke. :p Love the colour of the dress! Wish it was shorter though

    Cute necklace!  I didn’t pic that one up during the sale and am regretting it a bit.  The food looks really yummy! I know I missed out on going to other restaurants this summer for summerlicious.  I’ll have to plan better next year.
