One of the items I purchased during my trip to Buffalo last month.

I wore it a few weeks ago to a club in downtown. That night my girlfriends were busy chatting, so some random girl in the washroom helped me take the photo above! Thank you random girl! Anyone recognize the washroom?
The dress is not a 2-piece. Its a one piece with a silk top and a high-waisted black skirt.
Fit: The skirt is the same or similar to the textured power skirt available in stores now. The skirt is really tight and makes my bum too noticeable. When I was shopping for the dress, they also had XXS available, it just fit but if my bum increased even 12.7mm (1/2″) in diameter, I wouldn’t be able to wear it! The top part of the dress fit better in XXS, but I chose XS because I didn’t want to risk wardrobe malfunction. Blurry side view picture below.
Colour: Purple and black? Two of favourite colours! BCBG calls this shade Persian Blue. Close-up picture of the top.
Material: Top – 100% silk, Top Lining – 100% polyester. Skirt – 88% rayon, 11% nylon, 1% spandex

Comments: This is my first time purchasing this style of dress. Usually I dislike outfits that are fake 2-pieces, such as sweaters with the dress shirt sewn inside. Overall I like the dress and I feel like its a more mature style. Next time, I’ll probably wear ankle boots with the dress and tie up my hair.
Verdict: BCBG has a no return policy. Even if they didn’t, I would keep it.
Aside: One of my friends asked my why I was so covered up in a club. It was really hot wearing this dress in a club. You’re all probably wondering whether I got picked up wearing this dress. Not really. Only one guy who claimed to be an ibanker. I guess this isn’t skanky clubbing wear.
