I got this Costa Blanca blazer way back when I first started my full-time job. It was on final sale for $5, I thought that blazers are what grown ups wore to work. The dress code at my workplace is pretty casual, and I felt a little self conscious wearing a blazer. So, it hung in my closet for almost 2 years until I decided to just do it. And I loved it. The sleeves are a bit long, so I just fold them for a more casual look.
Blazer: Costa Blanca
Top: Gifted, Gap
Jeans: Mendocino
Necklace: Smart Set
Shoes: Hush Puppies
My colleague got this Gap shirt over Christmas and shrunk it in the wash. Lucky for me, she was super generous and gifted it to me, and it fit. I don’t usually buy more flowy tops, so this was something I know I wouldn’t not have picked out for myself, but I like it. I imagine it would look great tucked into skirts and pants, as well.
I usually feel very self-conscious in front of a camera, but I picked up some tips on how to pose from Tiffany over at I am Style-ish. As per her tips, I played around with my hair and used my hands to hold my jacket. (I never know what to do with my hands!)
